Terms of Use

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has consented to these Terms on your behalf. By using the Platform you represent and warrant that all information you provide is accurate and that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

2. Account Registration & Security

You must register for an account to access most features. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current and complete information during registration.
• Keep your password confidential and not share it with any third party.
• Notify us immediately at support@acneet.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your credentials.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts we reasonably believe have been compromised or are being used fraudulently.

3. Permitted Use

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Platform solely for your personal, non-commercial educational purposes — specifically to prepare for medical entrance examinations such as NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) or the Dubai Municipality Competency (DMC) exam.

4. Prohibited Conduct

You must not, and must not attempt to:

• Copy or redistribute content. Scrape, copy, republish, sell or commercially exploit any questions, explanations, or other content from the Platform.
• Impersonate or share accounts. Allow another person to take tests using your account, or use another person's account.
• Interfere with the Platform. Introduce viruses, bots, or other harmful code; conduct denial-of-service attacks; or probe for vulnerabilities.
• Circumvent security. Attempt to bypass authentication, rate limiting, or other protective measures.
• Reverse engineer. Decompile, disassemble, or derive source code from any part of the Platform.
• Misuse AI features. Feed Platform content into AI tools to generate derivative question banks or study materials for commercial distribution.
• Violate applicable law. Use the Platform in any manner that violates the Information Technology Act 2000 (India), the DPDP Act 2023, or any other applicable law.

Violations may result in immediate account suspension, termination, and/or legal action.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform — including but not limited to questions, answer explanations, video solutions, graphics, interface design, software, and trademarks — is owned by or licensed to AceNEET and is protected under the Copyright Act 1957 (India), the Trade Marks Act 1999 (India), and other applicable intellectual property laws.

Your subscription grants you access to content for personal study only. No content may be reproduced, distributed, or used commercially without our prior written consent. See our IP & Copyright Policy for how to report infringement.

7. User Content & Feedback

If you submit feedback, bug reports, or feature suggestions, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use that feedback without restriction or compensation to you. We do not claim ownership of personal study notes you create within the Platform.

8. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
• Any particular content will help you pass any examination.
• Results and analytics are 100% accurate at all times.

Educational content is prepared by subject-matter experts but may contain occasional errors. Always cross-reference with official NCERT materials and board circulars.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, AceNEET and its officers, directors, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of — or inability to use — the Platform, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising from or related to these Terms or your use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months immediately preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless AceNEET and its affiliates from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Platform in violation of these Terms; (b) your infringement of any third-party rights; or (c) any content you submit.

11. Third-Party Services & Links

The Platform may integrate or link to third-party services (e.g., Razorpay for payments, Cloudinary for image delivery). We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those services. Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law, or if we decide to discontinue the Platform. Upon termination:

• Your licence to use the Platform ends immediately.
• Sections 6, 9, 10, and 14 survive termination.
• You may request deletion of your personal data per our Privacy Policy.

You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@acneet.com.

13. Modifications to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by displaying a notice on the Platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Pune, Maharashtra, India.
